I would like to say a very big thank you to everyone who bought something, stopped in or took the time to pass along the information about my art supply sale. It is greatly appreciated. There are still a few goodies left. I have mailed everything out (yesterday via USPS) that was ordered before today. I am happy that my art supplies have found new homes.
In other news, David and I were involved in a car accident last week. We are okay but our only car is not. I am thankful that no one was seriously injured but extremely frustrated at the same time (it wasn't our fault.) I guess after twenty five years of driving (twenty of them in Los Angeles) and no accidents, we have been very lucky until this (craptastic) year. The guy at the auto shop summed it up best when he looked at our car and said, "Poor car."
I want to end this post with something positive. My friend, Krista, sent me a link to a great documentary with old footage of Georgia O'Keeffe. If you haven't seen it yet, it is well worth the hour of your time. I am determined to visit Georgia's museum, studio and home when I teach at Guadalupe's Fun Rubber Stamps in October. If anyone has any advice, tips or suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it.
