The winds of change are heavily at work with the design of the latest Edison Nouveau Premiere. Aptly named
Arctic Currents, this pen is fashioned from rippled blue and black ebonite and features black accents. This is the 13th seasonal collaboration between the
Edison Pen Co. and the Goulet Pen Company.
Unlike past editions, Arctic Currents harkens back to pens of bygone days with its ebonite body. Not often seen in modern hand-turned pens, ebonite is a material made from hardened rubber that feels really great in the hand. Being a slightly porous material, ebonite feels great in the hand. The nib and clip on this pen are made of black coated steel. It is available in nib sizes EF, F, M, B, 1.1mm and 1.5mm. You can also upgrade to an 18kt rhodium-plated gold nib for an additional $125.
